The device for fixing a jack onto a wheel comprising a rim (20) supported by a hub (21) pierced with holes (22, 23) for passage of bolts for fixing the wheel onto the vehicle, comprises a U-shaped stirrup piece (24) with two branches (25, 26), which is made of an elastically deformable material for enclosing the jack and holding it against the wheel by hooking the ends (28, 29) of the two branches of the stirrup piece (24) onto the hub (21), these ends being designed to pass, under elastic loading of the branches (25, 26) of the stirrup piece, through two bolt holes (22, 23) in the hub (21) and to be hooked onto the edges of these holes. <IMAGE>
