PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device, which suppresses leakage current of a relatively low frequency such as those detected by a ground leakage breaker or considered as a problem in terms of power consumption. SOLUTION: This device 2 is provided with a boosting circuit portion 5, which boosts voltages with a varying magnitude imputted from an alternating- current power supply to a specified magnitude and output them, and an inverter circuit portion 6 which subjects inputs from the boosting circuit portion 5 to switching by a bridge-connected switching element to convert them into alternating current and output them. The device 2 is so designed that the device supplies outputs from the inverter circuit portion 6 as a power source to a load 4 in linkage with a commercial power supply 3, and a single-crystal boosting chopper circuit is used as the boosting circuit portion 5. A second diode 55 is provided placed in an input/output line on the side opposite to the pole side, where a first diode 53 for maintaining the potential difference between the input and output of the single-crystal boosting chopper circuit, in such a direction that the current of an input power supply is unable to interfere with. |
