<p>PURPOSE:To print color pattern in the gaps of partitioning pattern in response to time series signals by a method wherein printing positions are controlled by means of read marks formed in the partitioning pattern or around the partitioning pattern. CONSTITUTION:Partitions 1 have certain line widths 2 and pitches 3. In light transmitting parts 4, 5 and 6 surrounded by the partitions 1, blue B, red R and green G are printed respectively and correspondingly. In order to exactly placing ink at positions R, G and B in response to time series signals, the Y-axis registering (or the longitudinal feeding of a print head) is performed through exact longitudinal feeding by detecting X-axis lines (or lateral lines) 7, which are arranged at fixed intervals in accordance with the number of nozzle, with a longitudinal feeding detector 8 and the X-axis registering (or the scanning or lateral feeding of the print head) is performed through exact lateral feeding by detecting Y-axis lines (or longitudinal lines) 9 arranged at fixed intervals with a lateral feeding detector 10. As for printing, exact printing becomes possible by outputting printing signals corresponding to respective colors in time with the detections with the detectors 8 and 10.</p> |
