PURPOSE:To provide a planting apparatus involving a raising base for raising the bottom of a pot to a higher level than the surface of stored water, a water seal cover composed of a dew screen and a cover unit and designed so that the lower part is lower than the surface of the stored water and a water supplier for keeping the level of the stored water surface, making it possible to readily control the conditions and capable of extension of the kinds of plants and indoor stationary culture. CONSTITUTION:This planting apparatus equipped with a pot 1 and a pot tray 10 involves a raising base 6 for supporting the bottom 2 of this pot 1 to a level higher than the surface (W) of water stored in the pot tray 2 and forming an evaporated moisture-containing space for supplying moisture to the top part of a potted plant, a water seal cover 12 for immersing the lower end part into the stored water and forming a water seal green house space, a water supply unit 11 for controlling the water supply by this water surface according to the water seal control effect and keeping the level of the stored water surface constant and an absorption zone 5 having the lower part immersed in the stored water and the upper part buried in the culture medium in the pot 1 and capable of supplying water through capillaries to the tissue of the top part of the potted plant. Further, the water seal cover 12 is equipped with a dew screen 13 having the curved upper part and capable of collecting dew water evaporated from the leaves and introducing it into the pot tray 10 and with a cover unit 19 for closing its opening part and forming a water seal green house space. Thus, plants are cultured under easy control of culture. |
