PURPOSE:To obtain a highly reliable ink jet printer which can discharge ink stably in an ink jet printer and an electronic system mounting that. CONSTITUTION:An electronic system is equipped with an ink jet head 1 having a plurality of nozzles which discharge an ink drop, a clock 4, a quiescence- timing means 12, a quiescent time-judging means 13, a recovery treating means 6 which controls recovery treatment for the nozzle, and a power sorce switch 5. Then, the electronic system uses an ink jet printer having a control means wherein time from preceding printer actuation stop to power source switch on is timed with the quiescence-timing means 12, and judged with the quiescence- judging means 13; when specific time is exceeded, a warning is displayed; when not exceeded, ink is controlled to be discharged according to a quiescent time with the recovery treating means 6. |
