The machine comprises carrying wheels (2) and guiding rollers (5) capable of ensuring its travel on low walls (3) with which a water filtration tank (4) is equipped. A turbine integrally attached to the machine is fed by a pressurised water intake (14) with which the tank is equipped and forms the device driving the carrying wheels and a hose reel (6) for its feed hose (10). Water from the turbine exit is conveyed towards a pressurised distribution pipe (19) equipped with spraying nozzles (20) and arranged below the machine. Application to slow filtration tanks. <IMAGE>
