The invention relates to a hollow body for electrical installation and for use in concrete ceilings which are produced using the double concreting method. Such concrete ceilings consist of a prefabricated ceiling part in the form of a panel and having a facing concrete underneath, and of a layer of concrete which is cast in situ and can be applied over the former. A hollow body is intended to be fitted in the region of an aperture in the prefabricated ceiling part, in such a manner that one part of its housing is arranged in the prefabricated ceiling part and another part in the layer of concrete which is cast in situ. It is intended that the hollow body 18 consist of a rear part 19 and of a front part 20, of which the rear part 19 can be fixed on the inside of the prefabricated ceiling part 11, to be precise using spacer ribs. The front part, which can be connected to the rear part, is arranged in the region of an aperture 17 in the prefabricated ceiling part 11, to be precise with a hollow connecting stub which is located on its one wall. This hollow connecting stub (29) is used to pass through a coupling 32 which forms an extension and can be connected to the front part 20. For its part, this coupling 32 holds a shell cover 42 which can be braced against the prefabricated ceiling part 11.
