The present invention relates to a utility model which is intended for the post-operative recovery of animals and which is used for fixing a ligation material on the stomach of cats or dogs after cavity operations. This device comprises a protection member (1) in the shape of a cover as well as a plurality of fixation members (2) in the shape of straps for fixing the protection members to the animal's body. The lateral sides and the back side of the cover are provided with oval cuts (3, 4) while its front side is provided with conical lips (8, 9). The cuts (5, 6) formed on the back side of the cover define an extension (7) having a removable gusset (10) provided thereon. The width of the cover may decrease from the cuts (3, 4) on the lateral sides towards the cuts (5, 6) on the back side. A plurality of areas (11, 12) which can be removed when adjusting the size of the cover are provided on the lateral sides of the cover between the cuts (3, 4) as well as on the cuts (5, 6) on the back side and on the extension (7). |
