The invention with the name "toy flying body (windwheel kite)" relates to a novel construction principle for kites. The wing of the kites consists essentially of an axially rotating windwheel which is produced in the wind by the flexibility of the bars fastened on the axis of rotation or by the deformation of sail surfaces. According to the invention, use is made of bars made of carbon-fibre composite materials, glass-fibre composite materials, wood or metal with a thickness of between 1 mm and 15 mm for supporting the wing.
