Battery changing device

A battery power pack is enclosed in a housing (1) in order to facilitate handling and for the safety of the occupants of an electric vehicle. The housing (1) with batteries is suspended below and outside the vehicle floor and is air-cooled. Used batteries together with the housing are replaced with charged batteries and the vehicle can continue to run. A special lever tool is provided as an integral part of the system and facilitates changing.
