The jet-type wind turbine (JWT) uses the dynamic (total, Pitot, ram, stagnation) pressure of the wind by means of annular (ring) nozzles, which are arranged in a circular plane upstream of the rotor, in order to accelerate the incident wind and direct it at a constant angle onto the rotor blades. The annular (ring) nozzle plane + rotor with nacelle are mounted on a fork tower (mast) which is attached to a movable carriage by means of a rotating disc (swivel-head plate). In the event of a storm, the annular (ring) nozzle plane + rotor is tipped into a horizontal position. The efficiency of the JWT is 8-10 times higher than free-wheeling wind turbines.
