A vehicle headlamp comprises a reflector (10), a lens disposed at a distance in light direction from the reflector, and a screen arrangement (22) disposed between the lens and the reflector (10). The screen arrangement (22) comprises a fixed screen (23) having a screen edge (35a, b), and an additional screen (25) which has a screen edge (43) and is tiltable relative to the screen (23) between two end positions. The additional screen (25) is supported by means of a knife-edge bearing on the screen (23), with the screen (23) having a bearing block (50) with a lateral slot (52) and the additional screen (25) having a lug (53) which engages into the slot (52). Set out from the screen (23) is a plurality of clip-like holders (49), between which and the screen (23) the additional screen (25) is guided in a plane perpendicular to the optical axis. Clamped between the screen (23) and the additional screen (25) is a C-shaped spring (64), which holds the lug (53) of the additional screen (25) applied in the slot (52) and moreover holds the additional screen (25) in its two end positions against a stop (56; 66). <IMAGE>
