Orthopaedic examination method

摘要

An orthopaedic examination method in which an acoustic pick-up is attached to the skin surface in the body segment to be monitored, and the acoustic signals of the acoustic pick-up, which occur when the person to be examined places a load on the body segment, are analysed by means of evaluation electronics, is employed to determine the individual breaking load of mechanically loaded human bones by evaluation of the crack forming sounds and the crack margin friction sounds occurring on crack formation in the bone.
