A plug connector which is suitable, in particular, for those coaxial cables in which the corrugated outer conductor consists of a relatively soft alloy comprises a plug housing (1) having a hole which has a centring attachment (10a) for the cable outer conductor (8). The centring attachment (10a) is essentially cylindrical, having a diameter which is approximately equal to the unobstructed internal diameter of the cable outer conductor.
