PURPOSE: A turbo compressor is provided to secure a stability of the bearing and enhance the productivity by making it easy to install a vertical turbo compressor. CONSTITUTION: The turbo compressor is comprises:the 1st compressing chamber(3) having a suction port(2) at the upper and lower area within a hermetical casing(1); the 2nd compressing chamber(5) having a discharge port(4); a gas tube(7) communicating with the 1st and 2nd compressing chamber(3)(5); and a motor room(6) and to introduce the coolant primarily compressed in the 1st compressing chamber(3) into the 2nd compressing chamber(5). At the center of the motor room(6) in the hermetical casing(1) a driving shaft(9) of which upper and lower ends are inserted in the 1st and 2nd compressors(3)(5) is vertically installed and the 1st impeller(10) is rotatively connected to the shaft in the 1st compressing chamber(3).
