Portable projection screen assembly

The present invention relates to a portable screen assembly which is handy, simple in construction, and not expensive. A spring-biased roller (2) is rotatably mounted to a lower casing (1), and a screen (4) is mounted at one end thereof to the roller (2) and at the other end to a top bar (3). The screen is set to a desired height by balancing the repulsive force for descending of the screen and the upward biasing force of a height retaining means (6) engaged with an expansion means (5) against an elastic force and gravity of a spring attached to the spring-biased roll (2).
