PURPOSE:To suitably elastically support a vibration system by using the flexible material whose elasitcity changes when pressed. CONSTITUTION:Kraft paper, synthetic leather or other flexible material whose elasticity increases when pressed is formed to a square-frame-form roll edge shape, after which the respective corner parts 3a thru 3d thereof are pressed to respective straight parts 4a thru 4d by using specified dies. This results in the increased elasticities of the respective straight parts 4a thru 4d, decreased stiffness as the edge parts where the respective corner parts 3a thru 3d maintain the elasticities (internal losses) of the stock material itself of the flexible material and enlarged range of the linear characteristics between input and displacement in the vibration system and this also enables the support plate 1 of small mechanical resonance sharpness and small rate of increase in distortion at the large amplitude to be obtained. Hence, by securing the outside circumferential edge part 5 of the support plate 1 to the electro- acoustic transducer body and bonding and securing a palne diaphragm 2 to the inside circumferential edge part 6, the plane diaphragm 2 is well elastically supported. |
