The fastener, consisting of a pointed anchor (2) which penetrates the bone (1), is mounted on the tip of a thrust rod (6) with a sliding sleeve (7) designed to press against the bone's outer surface. The sleeve has a projection (7B) or graduated marks for measuring the distance of its movement along the thrust rod, and one or more spacers (7C) to determine the penetration depth of the fastening. It also has recesses to receive the ends of a surgical wire attached to the fastener.
