<p>New curable inorganic resins based on alkali metal boroaluminosilicates which include, before curing, the inorganic elements in the reactive state, in the following proportions expressed as their molar ratio of oxides: 2 </= SiO2/Al2O3 </= 4 1.3 </= X2O/Al2O3 </= 3.8 10 </= H2O/Al2O3 </= 28 0.5 < B2O3/Al2O3 </= 2.0 X2O denoting one or more alkali metal oxides chosen from Na2O, K2O, Li2O, and optionally fillers. The invention also relates to the process for the preparation of these new inorganic resins. The cured resins obtained are very useful for the manufacture of heat-protection materials.</p> |
