PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform frequency dividing of a signal of a higher frequency into a low frequency at a time by amplifying the frequency component of the difference between an integer multiple frequency of an output frequency of a amplifier and an input signal of a frequency divider and also making a part of an output signal of the amplifier undergo self-feedback. SOLUTION: The frequency component of the difference between an integer multiple frequency of an output frequency of an amplifier and an input signal to a frequency divider is multiplied, and also, a part of an output signal to the amplifier is made to undergo self-feedback. In this circuit, a part of a signal multiplied by the amplifier 3 is feedback to the LO input terminal of a harmonic mixer 1 and also, directly made to undergo self-feedback to the amplifier 3 through a synthesizer 2. Thus, the gain of the amplifier 3 is increased to infinity through positive feedback to increase the output signal level of the amplifier 3. Thus, an input signal level to the LO input terminal of the mixer 1 is made large enough and makes the operation of the mixer 1 reach a normal state.
