<p>PURPOSE:To enable simple and exact measurement by determining the the concn. of heloglobin by the quadratic expression for the intensity of reflected light. CONSTITUTION:A generated 11 driving pulse D is supplied through a driving device 12 to a pin P3 of a reflected light sensor S. An LED3 is then lighted up according to the pulse D and the intensity E of the reflected light detected from a photodiode 5 according to the lighting up of the LED3 is outputted from the pin P6 and is supplied through a preamplifier 13 and a main amplifier 14 to a detector 15. The generated 11 pulse D is inputted to a detection pulse generator 16 from which the pulse is supplied as a detection pulse M to the detector 15. The intensity E is detected only when the pulse M is supplied. The detected 15 intensity E is inputted through an analog to digital converter 17 to a microcomputer 18. The concn. of the hemoglobin (Hb) is determined by executing the arithmetic processing using the quadratic expression Hb=AE<2>+ BE+C (where, A, B, C are the constants arising from the characteristic of the sensor to measure the intensity E of the reflected light).</p> |
