PURPOSE:To improve color reproducibility and the color fastness of a magenta dye image by incorporating a specific magenta coupler and compd. into a titled material. CONSTITUTION:This photosensitive material contains at least one of the magenta coupler expressed by the formula I and at least one of the compd. expressed by the formula II. In the formula I, Z denotes a nonmetallic atom group necessary for forming a nitrogenous heterocycle, X denotes a hydrogen atom or substituent which can be eliminated by reaction with the oxidant of a color developing agent, R denotes a hydrogen atom or substituent. In the formula III, R<3> denotes a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, etc., R<4> denotes a substitutable group, m denotes 0 or 1-5 integer. R<4> may be the same or different when (m) denotes 2-5 integer. |
