PURPOSE: A monitor for fluent material leakage of a valve is provided to rapidly and exactly monitor signals of high and low frequency bands occurring due to the fluent material leakage at the beginning of leakage. CONSTITUTION: A fluent material leaks toward a valve outlet side and a vacuum portion forms even if locking a valve. A wide band of sound transfers to a transfer rod along a valve wall. When vibration transfers to a sound sensor through the transfer rod, a diaphragm body of the sound sensor vibrates and an electric signal occurs through a film layer. The electric signal is half-wave rectified through a preamplifier(23) and inputted to an analysis processor(31) passing through an amplifier(25), a filter(27) and a signal converter(29) in order. The analysis processor continuously operates a data and displays a result on a displayer(35). With an abnormal signal, an alarm is sounded through an alarm device(37). Further, an order is inputted to the analysis processor by an input device(33). Then, a user efficiently monitors the fluent material leakage in the valve by software.
