PURPOSE:To simplify chord input operation and to prevent an operator from causing the disturbance in operation by providing a storage means storing chord names holding corresponding relation with plural operation keys allocated with chord names. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a specifying means capable of designating the chord name showing the kinds of a root sound and a chord, plural operation key parts 18 capable of allocating the chord name and an allocating means allocating the chord name designated by the designating means to plural operation key parts 18 respectively in order of input. The device is provided with the storage means 16 storing the chord name allocated to plural operation key parts 18 by the allocating means holding the corresponding relation with plural operation key parts 18. Then, by the storage means 16, the corresponding relation between respective operation keys and the chord names allocated to respective operation keys are stored. Thus, without increasing the number of the operation keys, the chord names required for respective compositions are allocated to the operation keys. |
