PURPOSE:To provide a producing method of a color filter substrate by which variation of the film state can be suppressed without requiring difficult process control, good dimensional accuracy of formed pattern is obtd., and a liquid crystal display excellent in display quality is obtd. CONSTITUTION:The producing method includes a process to selectively form colored resin patterns 3-5 of several colors in grooves 2 patterned on a first supporting body 1 and a process to transfer the patterns 3-5 in the grooves 2 of the first supporting body 1 to the second supporting body 7. These processes consist of a combination of at least two methods selected from a mask exposure method using a photomask, an exposure method through the back surface of the groove using a selective light shielding part 6 formed on a supporting body 1, and a squeezing method. |
