PURPOSE:To alleviate the load of a driving circuit when a plurality of ultrasonic motors are used. CONSTITUTION:A driving circuit for ultrasonic motors drive a plurality of ultrasonic motors 25A, 25B for driving moving elements in frictional contact with a surface of an elastic element by generating an elliptical vibration on a surface of the elastic element by applying an AC voltage to a piezoelectric element fixed to the elastic element in such a manner that frequencies of AC voltage adapted for driving are different. Further, the circuit comprises oscillators 50A, 50B for generating AC voltages of driving frequencies adapted for the individual motors, and selecting means for selecting the motor to be driven from the plurality of the motors by selecting any of the driving frequencies. |
