<p>PURPOSE: To synchronize data clocks within a sufficiently short no-loss time at the time of restoring information bits. CONSTITUTION: A device for restoring data is provided with a generator 11 which generates different phases of n-bit clocks, a first digitizer 12 which receives input data 22 containing a limited m-bit sequence of preambles, a multi-correlator 13 to which digitized preambles 23 are supplied from the first digitizer 12 so as to correlate an m-bit sequence of (n) pieces of displays each of which is delayed by one-sample clock period from the preceding display and from which the same number of correlated results as that of the displays is obtained in their outputs with the digitized preambles, a timing generator 15 which receives a burst start instructing signal 27 and part 36 of the n-bit clocks and generates a control signal 28 for enabling the first digitizer 12, and a selector 14 which decides the maximum correlated result and generates the optimum phase clock instructing signal 25.</p> |
