<p>PURPOSE: To realize instant closing of a valve regardless of fluid pressure or flow by providing a pair of seal elements operating in tandem, passing fluid through a series of chambers at opening the valve, and allowing fluid in a substantial passageway to bleed instantly to the outlet and instantly reducing pressure to zero at closing the valve. CONSTITUTION: A main body member 10 having a center hole 12, an inlet means 14, and an outlet means 16 is provided, and first and second seals 22, 24 are held in the center hole 12. A plunger 20 driven by a solenoid is arranged. At opening the valve, fluid flows out from a first inner chamber (inlet chamber) 34 to second and third inner chambers (outlet chamber) 40, 42 through opened seal holes 38, 36. The respective seals 22, 24 are held with seal receiving members 23, 25 spacedly supported with a keeper 31, and seated on respective shoulders 28, 30 at the same time. At closing the valve, when the solenoid is deenergized, by letting flow out fluid intending to hold the valve in the open condition to the outlet through a passage 44, the valve is instantly closed by the force of a spring 46.</p> |
