<p>PURPOSE: To provide a gear box mounting for automobile provided with elastic elements and shock absorbers for improving compliance in the vertical direction and the lateral direction of a gear box against a frame, and shock absorbing action in the vertical direction, the lengthwise direction, and in the lateral direction of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A gear box fitting box 10 is provided with a first member 11 mounted to the gear box and a second member 12 connected to an auxiliary frame. The first member and the second member are connected together through slanted elastic elements 40, 41 in a plane in the lateral direction against the lengthwise axis of a vehicle for obtaining compliance in the vertical direction/the lateral direction of the gear box against the auxiliary frame. Shock absorbnng devices 47, 48, 49 are provided between the first member and the second member and between the first member and the auxiliary frame for performing continuous successive cushioning in the vertical direction.</p> |
