PURPOSE:To obtain a stator laminated core excellent in electrical characteristics by, after punching a rotator core piece in a sheet metal, forming a thin portion, thinner on the rotor core piece punched side, in the sheet metal before punching a stator core piece in the same sheet metal, and thereby efficiently extending a punching margin in an unstrained manner for the prevention of variations in shape. CONSTITUTION:In station E, the pole teeth 7 of a stator core piece 12 are punched in a sheet metal, concentric with a rotor core piece 5 previously punched in the sheet metal. In station, F, part of the pole teetch 7 is pressed by punch to form a thin portion 8 in the sheet metal. The thin portion is so shaped that its cross-sectional shape is thinner on the rotor core piece 5 side, so that the thin portion 8 can be efficiently and precisely extended toward where the rotor core piece 5 is punched. In station, G, caulking areas 10 are formed in the stator core piece 12; in station H, small teetch 11 are punched in the ends of the pole teeth 7 of the stator core piece 12; and in station I, the circumference 13 of the stator core piece 12 is stamped. |
