PURPOSE: To make it possible to work a workpiece in a region for different diameters and to provide excellent function reliability at a comparatively less manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: A press device, which is used for pressure-bonding a sleeve, a cable shoe, etc., to a workpiece, is equipped with two tools which can be united with each other by the use of a driving device while forming a press space, each of the tools having press jaws, their press surfaces are formed so as to produce a polygon at the time of pressing. The press jaws 10, 11 standing opposite to each other of at least one tool 4 can rotate in the tool and the other tool 5 hits against the rotatable press jaws 10, 11 when the tools 4, 5 are united together and rotates them from an opened position to a press position for forming the press space. |
