Compounds of the Formula (I), (II), or (III): <IMAGE> (I) <IMAGE> (II) <IMAGE> (III) wherein the variables are as defined in the specification and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, exhibit useful pharmacological properties, and are particularly useful as angiotensin II antagonists.
