PURPOSE:To provide a radio telephone equipment enabled to be used as a cordless telephone by wirelessly connecting it to a cordless telephone master set and used as a cellular telephone by wirelessly connecting it to a cellular telephone base station in a field. CONSTITUTION:A PLL circuit constituted of the 1st and 2nd frequency dividing means for dividing the frequency of an output signal from a reference signal oscillation means, a switching means for inputting outputs from respective frequency dividing means and selectively outputting either one of the inputs, a voltage control oscillator(VCO), a variable frequency dividing means for dividing the frequency of an outputs from the VCO, a phase comparing means for comparing the phase of an output signal from the switching means with that of an output signal from the variable frequency dividing means, and a loop filter for inputting the output of the phase comparing means and outputting the input as a control voltage signal for the VCO is used for a frequency synthesizer 34 and a switch is switched by a control means 44 to operate a cellular transmitting means 31 or a cordless transmitting means 33.
