PURPOSE: To provide a gasket having non-stick characteristic against dirt by forming an automotive gasket out of a resilient material having a coating thereon which is obtained by impregnating the resilient material with a saturant having dispersed therein polymetric fluorocarbon particles. CONSTITUTION: This automotive gasket comprises a base sheet 13 made of a flat plate-like metallic material formed with holes corresponding to the diameter of a plurality of pistons and flow passages of cooling liquid, and upper and lower both side of the base sheet 13 are provided with resilient layers 14. In such gasket, a sealing coating 15 of fluorocarbon formed by adsorbing a saturant having dispersed therein polymetric fluorocarbon particles is provided. For the saturant, for example, silicone composition having viscosity of 5-100,000 mPa.s at 25&oC is used, and or the silicone composition, the composition containing organopolysiloxane and a cross linking agent is favorably used.
