<p>PURPOSE:To provide a variable pitch mechanism of a wave power prime mover of which construction is simple, cost is low, and an ideal blade angle according to wind speed can be automatically held. CONSTITUTION:This variable pitch mechanism of a wave power prime mover is provided with a holder 3 formed in one body with a blade shaft 2, a frame 6 fitted to a main shaft flange 5 and supporting the holder through a pin 4, a connecting rod 7 connected to the end part 2a of the blade shaft, and a post 9 fitted to the main shaft flange 5 and supporting the connecting rod 7 through a self-aligning rolling bearing 8. Because the blade shaft 2 and the connecting rod 7 are restrained from each other, as an escape for rotational movement of the holder 3, the blade shaft 2 is rotationally moved around the axis so as to change the pitch angle of a blade 1.</p> |
