发明名称 ACTIVE ENERGY CONTROL FOR DIODE PUMP LASER SYSTEM BASED ON PULSE WIDTH MODULATOR
摘要 PURPOSE: To provide an active energy circuit using pulse width modulator by providing a light-electricity sampling means which converts the output energy, sampled out of the output energy of a diode pumped laser system into digital energy signal and a control circuit. CONSTITUTION: A beam splitter 21, an optical attenuation device/expansion device 22, an energy detector 23 combined to a pulse expansion circuit 24, and analog-digital converter (A/D) 25 are provided. The A/D 25 is combined to a control device 26, which controls based on a pulse width over the output energy of a laser system 11. The control device 26 is combined with a current control pulse-drive circuit 27 which is combined to plural pumped diodes 28 which supply energy to a laser rod 13. The output energy is sampled and converted into a digitized output energy and then compared to a predetermined energy threshold. The increase/decrease of a pulse period value is controlled, based on whether it is above or below the threshold, for obtaining a new energy pulse.
