PURPOSE:To lessen the area of installation of an outdoor unit and also to prevent the noise of a compressor from troubling the neighborhood. CONSTITUTION:A compressor 5 is held in a first case body 2OA, while a heat exchanger 9 and a blower 10 for sending air thereto are held in a second case body 20B. These first case body 20A and second case body 20B are set integrally or separately from each other as occasion demands.
