PURPOSE:To provide an electric wire holding mechanism, for a pressure-contact connector by which sure connection can be carried out by a small force and good maintenance can be provided without any influence of external force. CONSTITUTION:A housing main body 6 provided with an electric wire holding part 4 on an electric wire insertion port 11 of a connector housing 3, in which pressure-contact terminals 2 are arranged in plural rows alternately corresponding to electric wires 9 one by one, and an electric wire pressing part 10 which stores the housing main body 6 and cooperates with the electric wire holding part 4 to press the electric wires 9, are provided on the back face of a lid part 8 to be fitted to a housing main body cover 7. When freely rotational lid part 8 is closed, the electric wires 9 can be easily pressed and fixed in a crank-shape. |
