PURPOSE:To reduce power loss at the time of switching by slowly varying a voltage at the time of turning OFF and ON a main switching element by resonance of a capacitor and a reactor. CONSTITUTION:The bridge type inverter comprises a first main switching element TR1 connected between a positive side terminal of a first DC power source 1a and a load 2, a second main switching element TR2 connected between a negative side terminal of a second DC power source 1b and the load 2, first, second reactors L1, L2 connected in parallel with the elements TR1, TR2, and a capacitor C1 connected between a connecting midpoint of the sources 1a, 1b and a connecting midpoint of the elements TR1, TR2. A voltage is slowly varied at the time of turning ON, OFF the elements TR1, TR2 by resonance of the capacitors C1 and the reactors L1, L2. Thus, power loss at the time of switching is reduced. |
