PURPOSE:To prevent abnormal operation even when a runaway of a CPU occurs before insertion by resetting a central processing means of the CPU, etc., when a disk cartridge is inserted. CONSTITUTION:In the state where no disk (medium) is loaded, a medium-in signal MI is an H, and a medium-in-reset signal MIR is an L. Then, when the disk is loaded, the signal MI becomes the L, and the signal MIR is outputted as a pulse with the H. When the CPU is reset by the signal MIR, the CPU 5 stops operation till then, and is restarted from an initial state. Thus, even when the CPU 5 is run away caused by a noise on a drive device circuit 6, since the abnormal operation is stopped by that the CPU 5 is reset simultaneously when the medium is inserted, stable operation is attained. |
