PURPOSE: To surely measure radial and circumferential distortion in an inlet face and recognize the sign of stall. CONSTITUTION: The measurement of each sensor is calculated (S2) based on the static pressure (step S1) detected by each sensor. The average of the total pressure of the whole sensors, the average of the inside diameter side sensors, and the average of the outside diameter side sensors are calculated. The radial and circumferential distortions are calculated (S3) by the averages and the total pressure of each point. This constitution can measure the distribution of the radial and the circumferential distortions. A stall margin loss is decided (S7) by referring (S6) to the storage data related to a specific inlet. The engine air flow shape is corrected (S10) based on the stall margin loss by a variable nozzle, etc. The sign of the stall is detected (S4, S5) by the size of the peak to peak variation of either one of the sensors. |
