PURPOSE:To provide an automatic accompaniment device capable of playing many kinds of accompaniment patterns with a small memory capacity. CONSTITUTION:This device is constituted of an accompaniment pattern memory 34 which stores accompaniment patterns by the data obtained by making plural kinds of percussion instruments correspond to key codes, an accompaniment pattern selection means 20 which selects and reads the accompaniment patterns stored in the memory 34 and a sound source device 40 which receives the accompaniment patterns read from the memory 34, converts the key codes that represent each percussion instrument to percussion instrument signals and outputs them. To the device, plural conversion table groups 38 which convert the key codes representing each percussion instrument read from the memory 34 into the key codes that represent other percussion instruments and a conversion table selection means 60 which selects conversion tables among the groups 38 and uses them are added. |
