<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic recording and reproducing device in which either a standard cassette or a small-sized cassette is selectively loaded. CONSTITUTION:The device is constituted so that either the standard cassette 1 or the small-sized cassette 101 is selectively loaded in a cassette holder 25. When the cassette 101 is loaded, it is guided by guide plates 27 and 28 guiding the cassette 101. When the standard cassette 1 is loaded, the guide plates 27 and 28 are moved in accordance with the movement of turning levers 310 and 311 detecting the presence or absence of the standard cassette 1 so as to escape to the outside of the passing path of the standard cassette.</p> |
