PURPOSE: An optical pickup device capable of recording/reproducing with high density is provided to realize simplified and compact structure by employing a single SIL unit having composite curved surfaces, and reduce the influence of coma aberration for expanding the micro tracking areas. CONSTITUTION: An optical pickup device capable of recording/reproducing with high density includes an optical module(21) for generating and radiating light and receiving reflected light, and a SIL(Solid Immersion Lens) unit(30) disposed on the light path between the light module and a recording medium(19) and formed with plane surfaces facing the recording medium to be adjacent to the recording medium and a plurality of ovally curved surfaces having different sizes from a central shaft for focusing incident light to form light spot on a recording surface of the recording medium.
