发明名称 THEORY FOR MEASURING UREASE ACTIVITY INHIBITION CAUSED BY HELICOBACTER PYROLY ANTIBODY IN BLOOD SERUM
摘要 PURPOSE:To allow quick and inexpensive diagnosis of helicobacter pyroly infected patient by determining urease activity inhibition caused by antibody in blood serum by an ammonia measuring method using the urease of bacteria refined by an antigen. CONSTITUTION:An antigen, i.e., urease refined from helicobacter-pyroly, is reacted on an antibody, i.e., the blood serum of a helicobacter-pyroly infected patient, in a thermostatic bath and then the urease activity is measured. Urease is an enzyme decomposing urea into ammonia and carbon dioxide and a specified quantity of urease produces a specified quantity of ammonia. If the antibody is present, urease activity is inhibited and production of ammonia is reduced as compared with a person having no antibody.
