PURPOSE:To improve the volume efficiency of intake air so as to improve combustion performance by setting a cooling system into mutually different systems of an intercooler and an oil cooler, and cooling a cooling system by the intercooler by means of cooling water always cooled by a radiator without passing a thermostat valve. CONSTITUTION:A radiator R is arranged on the side of a cylinder block B to carry out cooling by a cooling fan F. An intercooler C is arranged below the turbine E of a supercharger, and an oil cooler A is arranged below it. Respective cooling water lots from the cylinder block B and a cylinder head h are passed through the radiator R by a thermostat T, or they are supplied into a cooling water pump P directly without passing the radiator R, and they are supplied into the intercooler C and the oil cooler A. The intercooler C and the oil cooler A are arranged in series in a prior art, but they are branched into two systems so as to carry out cooling by the intercooler C regardless of a water temperature. It is thus possible to improve the volume efficiency of intake air.
