PURPOSE: To prevent liquid or a powder substance from entering an electric circuit inside a switch by sliding-freely holding a piston rod to control a safety switch inside a base projection part. CONSTITUTION: An electric motor is operated by controlling a switch provided inside a base 1 of a food processing machine by operating a piston 9 by means of a push rod 13. This piston 9 is guided by a bore 19a of a plate 5 of a support member 3 and attracted up by a spring 10. Also, a guide head 11 at an upper edge part of the piston 9 is sliding-freely held inside a tapered projection part 8 of the case of the base 1 and sealed by an O-ring 20. Further, it is recommended that a skirt 12 is provided with the piston 9 to cover the support member 3 including the upper wall 14 holding the spring 10. |
