PURPOSE:To provide a photographic support high in mechanical strength, reducible in film thickness, superior in colorless transparency, curling resistance, not adversely affecting the photosensitive characteristics of a photographic emulsion, moderate in curling tendency, and suitable for use in a compact type camera. CONSTITUTION:The photographic support is characterized by being oriented and having at least one layer containing a copolymer polyester obtained by diesterifying aromatic dicarboxylic acid and/or its derivative and aromatic dicarboxylate having metal sulfonate groups with glycol, and then adding polyalkyleneoxy-dicarboxylic acid and glycol, and esterifying and polycondensing the mixture. |
