<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a method by which point-to-multipoint connection can be formed in an ATM switch frame without limitation for dynamic characteristics by copying communication information cells at each transmitter-receiver. CONSTITUTION: Communication information cells are transmitted to a plurality of transmitter-receiver groups from first transmitter-receivers. The switch frame connecting modules KAM of the first transmitter-receivers form a cascade virtual circuit sequence by copying the communication information cells and transfer the sequence to the transmitter-receivers through an ATM switch frame ASN. In each switch frame module KAM, all important information on the connecting route and the kind of the connection through the frame ASN are stored on first and second tables TAB1 and TAB2 and the cascade virtual circuit sequence is formed to the last transmitter-receiver.</p> |
