<p>PURPOSE:To shorten oscillation rise time when a power source is applied and to reduce power consumption when a device is operated and reset in a semiconductor device incorporating a clock oscillation circuit to supply a clock to a microcomputer, etc. CONSTITUTION:A clocked inverter 6 can be operated as an inverter only for a fixed period when reset is released by providing a counter 7 incorporating an oscillation inverter 4 and a feedback resistor 5 connected in parallel with self-oscillation terminals 1, 2, operating oscillation (f) as the clock, and cleared by the inversion signal of a reset signal (c) inputted from a reset terminal 3, and the clocked inverter 6 controlled based on the condition of the overflow inversion signal (e) of the counter 7 and the reset signal (c).</p> |
